Make A Decision!

I was reminded today how important it is to make a decision. And while the decision itself should be most important, it's actually the act of making one that is critical.

Just like the line from the song, "It Don't Mean A Thing If You Ain't Got That Swing," if you just think about doing it, it never gets done. Today I worked with a few different individuals on their projects and problems, so I took notice of their focus. Each person was so wrapped up in the what ifs, who didnts, and why nots, that they would never have reached a decision if I hadn't said, "Just make a decision!"

why don't people make up their minds more quickly? Fear - it grabs you and holds on for dear life! Loosen it's grip by reminding yourself that the road to success is paved with decision stones. There may be hills to climb and steep slopes on which to balance, but you will get to your destination faster if you keep going and don't take so many breaks!

Peace,

Shelly
